PACT

Policies

What your buyer agent may commit without you, and how it is allowed to pay. Every limit here is evaluated in code before any PayPal call. No model can raise one.

Delegated agent wallet

Give consent in PayPal once, and the buyer agent can place authorization holds for in-policy deals without a PayPal login. The wallet carries no spending cap of its own: the limits on this page are enforced by PACT’s policy engine, in code, before any PayPal call — never by the model.

How decisions are made

A spending decision is never a model’s opinion. The agent can ask; only deterministic code can say yes, and only PayPal moves the money.

  1. 01 Models propose

The agent asks to commit funds

The buyer agent negotiates a price with the seller agent. What it agrees to is a proposal, parsed against a strict schema, and nothing more.

  2. 02 Code decides

    The policy engine answers

evaluatePolicy() runs the five checks on this page with plain arithmetic: allow, ask a human, or block. Same input, same answer, and the result goes into the audit trail.

  3. 03 PayPal moves the money

Funds are held, then captured on proof

Only an allowed or human-approved deal reaches PayPal, as an authorization hold. Capture follows only after the delivery is verified against the contract.
